Collaborating with industry and City Region partners is the University of Liverpool’s sixth Industrial
Strategy Open Event featured speakers from Innovate UK and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. Those who attended gained an insight into the UK’s R&D roadmap, funding and collaboration opportunities and there was also a chance to learn more about how we at the University can contribute to the Liverpool City Region Local Industrial Strategy.
This event was organised by the University’s Industrial Strategy team, who coordinate the University’s approach to the Government’s Industrial Strategy. The team aims to address some of the biggest challenges faced by society today by effecting scientific, economic and social change in the UK and globally.
The University plays an important part in Industrial Strategy by working closely with local
government, industry and other regional stakeholders. The team manages these relationships and others relating to Industrial Strategy research, such as with funders and external collaborators.
If you wish to know more about the University's Industrial Strategy or wish to discuss a potential collaboration or would like advice before submitting your bid for funding, contact us for an informal chat at ISCF@liverpool.ac.uk.
