This is a chance for UoL staff with an interest in health research to find out more about opportunities under Horizon Europe from the UK’s National Contact Point for Horizon Europe Health, Katie Dingley.

The UK government has announced that the UK will associate to Horizon Europe, the new EU research and innovation programme. Horizon Europe has a budget of €95.5 billion over 2021-2027. Association will give UK researchers access to funding under the programme on equivalent terms as organisations in EU countries. The Horizon Europe Health Cluster has €8.3 billion of funding overall (2021-2027) with €1.75 billion of calls in 2021-2022. This session will give an overview of these funding calls and will also highlight some of the funding opportunities for health researchers elsewhere in Horizon Europe. There will be a chance for Q&A at the end of the session.

Katie Dingley is the UK National Contact Point (NCP) Horizon Europe for academia for Health. The network of NCPs provide guidance, practical information and assistance on all aspects of participation in Horizon Europe. Katie is an International Relations Manager and NCP at the Medical Research Council in the European and International Relations team. She has previously worked in the Global Health team and Strategic Planning at the MRC.
