University of Liverpool's Badminton Club are attempting to beat the World Record for the Longest Competitive Badminton Doubles Marathon, with just 30 hours continuous play to complete.

The four players - Ben Fielding, Jon Savory, Ste Daley and Dale Hawson - started at 7am on Thursday June 20 and must keep playing through the night until after 1pm on Friday June 21 to snatch the title.
