Hi and welcome to our startup Deep Directory. The idea is to help entrepreneurs build up support for their small businesses. We set out to achieve this on Instagram by making a page with posts advertising small businesses from all different categories from fashion to services. The concept is that when someone is looking for a product or hoping to support small business, they can visit Deep Directory and find 1 to meet their needs. We chose Instagram as our platform because it's familiarity with young people and popularity. 500 million daily users but website with better filtering function could be a future venture. Supporting small businesses is a current social trends with even Google. Recently running an ad with Anthony Joshua on the topic, while one in five small businesses think they wouldn't survive another lockdown. Many are starting businesses because of diminishing job opportunities due to covert, especially graduates with 50% more businesses started doing their share in June of last year to boost our ethics all profits are being donated to food banks. Making us a third sector business, keeping families fed during the current crisis is a topical cause. We wanted to support. We wanted to promote change by encouraging people to use more businesses that are more ecologically sound than big companies like Amazon. We Additionally shows this idea to support the value of entrepreneurship with growing importance being placed on it by business schools and even employers wanting to hire intrapreneurs while one group member already had this idea working as a group at Lobster Pooler expertise and improve it, Deep Directory is also innovative as an advertising hub for small businesses didn't previously exist on Instagram, we started out by messaging small businesses on Depop Instagram. And asking if they wanted an advertisement on Depop Directory and exchange for food bank donation. We also use connections through friends and family to border following and achieved 100 followers in a month. However, as mentioned in one BBC article we read, we found as young people we had a credibility issue and we just trusted by many small businesses. We should have started by offering free posts and ask for charity donation after building a full page. Next time we would also run competitions to help promote our course as well as attracting interest from small businesses. Bra team roles. One of us found the Instagram two people manage sales. Another two people, but some feedback to nations and one person did the market research and video. We use PayPal to get the money from clients to food banks because it's easy usability and compatibility with different currencies. Due to the short time period, we only had two clients and another in progress by overtime and after re strategizing. As mentioned, we could have been more successful. An advantage of us being online is having no overheads or break even point with zero and therefore we did not make a loss despite not making much. We were even able to outsource for a friend to have our logo created for free. We hope you enjoyed learning about Depop directory. Please visit our Instagram page for more.
