For this meeting, Professor Anthony Hollander, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Impact; Emma Nolan, Head of IP Commercialisation; and Professor Kate Black, from the University’s Centre for Materials and Structures and founder of spin-out Meta Additive discussed the University’s recent successes in the area of commercialisation and our current strategy in this area.
Dr Carol Costello, Director of People and Services, also provided an update on PS Futures – including details of activities taking place this semester – and showcased the programme’s new communications approach, devised in response to feedback from colleagues.
Professor Fiona Beveridge, Executive Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Humanities and Social Sciences and Chair of the University’s Equality and Human Rights Commission Working Group, provided an update on the group’s work in preparing our submission to achieve the Race Equality Charter accreditation with Advance HE. The presentation also outlined next steps, including the launch of an all staff and student survey in May.
