About this video
The Open Meeting includes presentations by Professor Louise Kenny, Executive Pro-Vice-Chancellor for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, who provides further insight into CAMPUS Shield, and Steve Dunkley, University Safety Advisor, who updates colleagues on our COVID reporting guidance. Keith Watkinson, Director of Human Resources, also shares the results of the recent Pulse survey which has provided a more detailed insight into the staff experience in the context of COVID.
Professor Anthony Hollander, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Impact, discusses our new initiative – Research in an Inclusive and Sustainable Environment (RISE) – which aims to better understand the changes to research activity occurring as a result of COVID and to seek views and ideas on how we can build a more inclusive, sustainable and successful research environment. Professor Hollander is joined by Dr Krishanthi Subramaniam, Tenure Track Fellow in Infection Immunology and Co-Chair of the Research Staff Association Network, who shares her own thoughts and perspectives on the impact of COVID and how we may need to change in the future.
